The Mexican hammocks and Mayan hammocks of today originated in Central America and Southern Mexico over 3000 years ago. Our Mexican hammocks are made by Mayan women today using the same traditional methods of weaving. Mayan hammocks and Mexican hammocks from the Yucatan are considered the best. When you get one from us, you know you are not only getting a great hammock, but also supporting the women in the small communities where they are made.
